Saftiger Weihnachtskuchen
Zubereitung
- Die Eier trennen. Schokolade hacken.
- Butter, Zucker, Dotter, Vanillezucker, geriebene Orangen- und Zitronenschale und Rum sehr gut schaumig rühren.
- Dinkelmehl mit Backpulver, Nüssen, Mohn, Lebkuchengewürz, Zimt und gehackter Schokolade gut vermischen und unter die Dottermasse rühren.
- Eiklar zu Schnee schlagen und vorsichtig unter den Teig rühren. Die Masse in eine gut gefettete und bemehlte Tortenform füllen und im vorgeheizten Backrohr bei 180 °C ca. 1 Stunde backen. Nadelprobe durchführen!
- Den fertigen Kuchen mit erwärmter Marillenmarmelade bestreichen und mit der Schokoglasur überziehen.
Tipp
Probieren Sie anstatt der Marillenmarmelade auch einmal eine andere Marmelade, wie z. B. Bratapfelmarmelade mit Zimt und Nüssen oder Hagebutten- bzw. Preiselbeermarmelade.
